I'm So tired!!!

Went jogging with dad and Jackie at 6am this morning again. I can actually feel my calf and abdomen muscles aching from the jogging and sit-ups. I'm hoping this means i'll be seeing results soon lol. It's a good start anyway. We run one lap, power walk for another lap and then finish off with sit-ups. *phew*... We will have to keep this up daily for as long as possible. This means i'll have to set up some sort of routine that's similar when i'm back in Adelaide. This also means lots of self-discipline.

We returned home, had a shower and continued with our beauty sleep. At about 11am, i went and met up with Jacqueline King at Sogo. Even though we haven't seen each other in ages, it didn't feel like it at all. We chit-chatted while walking about in Causeway Bay until we decided to have some lunch at CitySuper. What looked like a small meal was actually EXtremely filling.

Jacqueline had a pretty large bowl of soup. She told me she felt like a large bowl of soup herself afterwards. lol

We continued on our journey around Causeway Bay. Stuff has really changed around Windsor House and World Trade Centre. The place seems much cleaner, which impressed me and they've also got these cool stores that rents out a small box for other stores to hire. What happens basically is that other stores hire a box each, place their products there so that customers can get a wider view of what's available in the whole mall just by walking into ONE store. smart, smart. On the down-side, they only get to see a very small portion of what the store is providing.

We decided to get some dessert seeing as Jacqueline only had soup for lunch lol. So i ordered this red bean thing (not sure what it's called in English)while Jacqueline ordered YeungZiGumLo (lol) and fried banana roll. It sounds weird but tastes AWESOME!

Anyways, we spent all afternoon looking around Causeway Bay and Wan Chai for a particular present for a particular someone who only likes a particular character of a particular jap anime. I swear when i see this person.....out comes the knife. lol. Juuuust kidding. We found it about 4 hours later. *phew*

Well.. you'd think walking about for 5 hours straight would be tiring enough, when i get home, dad asks if i'd like to go watch him and his wife play Table Tennis. Silly me... i thought that i'd be all right but after arriving at the sports centre, i was so tired, i thought i was going to collapse on the spot. Good thing i found an empty bench and fell asleep while they played table tennis. I just had to because they were planning on having dinner at a restaurant.

I'm glad i went anyway because the food was G-R-E-A-T.

Jackie has a taste of the shellfish. ummmm yum

Here Jackie is eating an "egg". It ended up being really weird because dad cracked the egg into a bowl of soup that was cooking over an electric stove. lol very original, hey?

erm. no comment.

ooo... and this is chocolate coated mashed potato. haha. I know... it sounds disgusting but it really is very nice.

I feel a little nauseous just looking at the photo though. I'm filled up to the nose with food.

Kinda forgot about my journey from Singapore to HongKong. lol.. didn't mean to miss that. Although i only spent one night in Singapore, it was a night well-spent....because i spent most of my time there sleeping. I didn't sleep at all on the flight from Adelaide to Singapore because i was watching 'No Reservations', 'License to Wed' (OMG.. if you haven't watched it you're missing out on one of the best comdedies)and think i was playing games as well. QANTAS isn't so bad. I used to hate it because every flight i took was always delayed. Can't blame me.

Anyways, I was supposed to take a picture of the 'World's largest Ferris Wheel' (because it is OH sooo important *cough cough*) but i missed out on that.So i got a view of Singapore from the back of the Taxi.

Mum and i were on a flight together to Hong Kong, which was really weird. I've been travelling alone for four years. The last time i was on a flight with my mum was er... 6 years ago?? Something like that. We got nice spacious seats with lots of leg room.

There was a catch though... The reason we got nice spacious seats with lots of leg room was because we were sitting right next to the window exits and IF (not WHEN) there's an emergency landing, we're supposed to lift this door and help the passengers get off the plane safely. Oh joy. Thank goodness no such thing happened. We were able to sit through the flight without having to worry about our ability to save innocent lives.

Well... i decided to study the instructions anyway... Juuuust incase.

We stayed at my Uncle Ivan's flat at ChingYi. He's got about 3 different homes and managed to sell one the night before last. We were so happy for him because he had so much trouble selling it. He had to resort to lying to the buyer (hahah). He told them that he won the lottery when he was living there because the Fung Shui's so good. Nice one, Uncle Ivan!

The view's not so great if you're not into looking through dirty windows. Sorry! my bad.

The following are randoms i've decided to include. lol. A picture's worth a thousand words. (i.e. i'm too lazy to type and describe in more than 50 words)

Chestnuts!!!! One of my favourites. Haven't had that in AGES! Yum....

Dad and his wife brought us to a playground at Victoria Park one night after dinner.. (because that's where kids aged 14 and 19 go when they're in HK...not) lol. We had fun taking over the swings and the rest of the playground. It was 10pm! Kids aren't meant to be awake that time of night anyway! lol

Macau.

So this is Macau... yup this groggy, hazy thing. I was there with my sister, mum, Alan, my uncle, aunt and one-year-old cousin (Tessa)for 2 days. We stayed at the Venetian Hotel that was built not long ago. Apparently it's twice the size of the hotels in Las Vegas. (I can't say i know that for sure. All the hotels look the same to me when i'm inside anyway). One thing that was really cool though was the imitation of Venice on the INSIDE of the hotel. There's an actual river (not too convincing) and people can actually hire a gondola for a ride down this "river". Oh and don't forget the Italian guy who will row your boat and sing to you, while you pretend you're in "Venice". haha.. smart. Cheap thrills for those who don't want to see the sinking city in Italy and the bird poop in Marco's Square. Obviously... the best part is the bedroom.. We celebrated my sister's birthday on the 29th. She turned 14. The cake was awesome and Tessa sang along- that was really cute. She talks a lot for a one-year-old. She can pretty much recognise everyone in the family and we have a LARGE family. There are more than 30 of us when everyone returns from San Francisco, Adelaide, UK and Shen zhen.

I don't think Tessa was in the mood for making cute faces. It looks like i won this one.
